Technical support scam looks like this: an attacker offers the user technical assistance in solving an alleged difficulty, to either defraud money to solve the problem or gain control over your data, which means access to confidential information and financial accounts.

Most often it is a tech support scam call of an alleged employee of a large IT company, but an increasing number of scammers are choosing sites that you can visit to make sure they are a “real” company that is trying to “help” their customers

Even if you have a real difficulty with your computer, you must first call and report it, and then wait a long time for a specialist answer.
The firm will not troubleshoot your computer or tell you if something goes wrong with it. While large IT organizations are legally allowed to monitor and manage the behavior of individual users, they simply do not have the time and resources to do so.
